"My John Hancock" is an iOS application designed specifically for agreement signing, targeting users of Irthlingz for streamlining the process of securing permissions to utilize musical compositions, arrangements, and recordings within mobile applications available on platforms such as the Apple App Store. The app primarily serves copyright holders, enabling them to sign agreements that grant permission for their musical works to be distributed as digital downloads in mobile environments.

The process begins with Irthlingz providing the copyright holder with a unique “agreement number.” Upon launching the application, users input this number to access the corresponding agreement. Following the review of the agreement, copyright holders can sign electronically and proceed by clicking the “Submit” button. This action unveils various sharing options, including the ability to send the signed document via email, thereby facilitating communication with Irthlingz.

Once the signed agreement is emailed to Irthlingz, it serves as documentary evidence of permission granted for the utilization of third-party material within our apps. Additionally, copyright holders retain the flexibility to send the agreement to alternative email addresses, save it locally, or utilize other available sharing options.
